Plant care:

Fuchsias prefer bright light, partial shade or gentle morning sun. Protect them from harsh afternoon sun and excessive heat, particularly during hot weather.

Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Hanging baskets dry out faster than plants in containers, so check the soil regularly and water when the surface begins to dry. During hot weather, they may need watering more frequently.

Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage continued flowering and keep the plant looking neat. Light trimming can be used to encourage bushier growth.

Fuchsia is considered safe to cats and dogs. As with any plant, eating large quantities can still cause mild stomach upset.
