Peperomia verticillata, often called Red Log Peperomia, is a compact, multi-stemmed beauty that brings both structure and colour into your space. Its small, rounded green leaves sit neatly along upright stems, while the undersides and stems reveal warm red tones that give the plant its distinctive, almost layered look.
This plant has a naturally full, bushy growth habit, making it perfect for styling on shelves, desks, or side tables where you want something neat but visually interesting. The contrast between the deep green tops and reddish hues underneath adds depth without being overwhelming.
Why You'll Love It
• Unique red-backed leaves that add subtle contrast and depth
• Naturally compact and bushy — might need some pruning when it gets too long, or transfer it to a hanging container
• A structured, modern look that suits any interior style
• Semi-succulent nature makes it forgiving with watering
