The Ficus benjamina ‘Starlight’ is a beautifully variegated version of the classic Weeping Fig, with delicate green leaves edged and splashed with creamy-white markings. Its fine branches and slightly cascading growth give it an airy, graceful appearance, making it a lovely choice when you want something a little more elegant than your average leafy houseplant.
Give your Starlight plenty of bright, indirect light to help maintain its beautiful variegation, and allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Like most Ficus, it appreciates consistency, so try to avoid frequently moving it around once it has found a spot it loves. With the right care, it can grow into a gorgeous feature plant that brings plenty of light and texture into your home.

Plant care:
Bright, indirect light. Some gentle morning or late-afternoon sun is fine, but avoid harsh direct midday sun.
Allow the top 3-5 cm of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Reduce watering during cooler months.
Not safe pets if ingested. Ficus benjamina contains irritating compounds in its sap that can cause gastrointestinal and skin irritation.
